Absolutely amazingThis is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Not only is this an amazing reading lamp, it has helped me tremendously in dealing with the recent time change with Daylight Savings. I highly highly recommend a full spectrum light like this for people with seasonal affective disorder--it has done wonders for me!

Very nice lampJust received this lamp--it's made very well (all metal) and I just love the functional aesthetics. Light is clear and bright and you can easily tilt the shade and adjust. I was somewhat concerned about buying it as I read a lot of bad reviews about the ballast of Ott-lites. I wrote to Ott-lite directly and they responded quickly (see below) and said they had past issues that have been since corrected. Keeping this in mind I decided to buy. Don't know if it will last but it's a beauty of a lamp. I'll post another review if the ballast goes out. Reply from Ott-lite: We do monitor product reviews and, unfortunately, the comments you are seeing reflect a very small number of small issues we had in the past and have since corrected. In fact, a recent independent survey conducted by researchers from a leading university revealed that OTT-LITE owners overwhelmingly report being "very satisfied" with their lamps and would recommend them to a friend.

Just Right!Great lamp. I bought 6 months ago and am still enjoying it. No problems. Easy to assemble. Arrived quickly. Beautiful finish and great light quality. What's not to like?
