My mother has macular degeneration and was very depressed at not being able to see her own bills. This magnifier light has been a blessing. Only problem was finding the right "edge" to which to attach. Price was EXCELLENT! (I shopped around.)

lsm-182 perfect for aging eyes doing close work

I do lapidary and jewelry work and this lamp is ideal. It circles, it raises to a height of about three and a half feet, and lowers to within eight inches of the work table surface. It is firm, stays where you position it, and does not wobble. My work bench has curved edges, so I had to improvise to affix the clamp. The clamp works better on square-edged table and work bench tops.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
